Singapore, Fascinating City that Never Stops Growing

You Name It and Singapore Has It All !!!

I visit Singapore again!!! Yes, when I had a look at my passport the other day, I can say that It’s the country that I visited the most this last 4 years since I got my re-new passport beside Germany. I came here for various reasons, fun, work and play, also its location and well connected makes Singapore a truly hub in SEA region. She, as a country/city is always fascinating me, with its development, every time I come, there is always new building, shopping complex, etc etc, just never get enough to make the most every square feet of its possible land.

How to get to Singapore ???

Singapore as a country has massive and extensive connection to the whole world. You mention a place, pretty much every where is connected here. It can be approached from anywhere on earth by flying. Singapore connected by the bridge with Peninsular Malaysia, you can take a cheap, convenience and very frequent bus between Malaysia and Singapore, also with the train. From the islands part of Indonesia, there are several boats that connected between Indonesia and Singapore.

What to do in Singapore ???

Depends on how many days you have, the best amount is 3 whole days so that you can get enough impression about the city. Walk around little India, you feel that you are in the hectic and chaotic India, from there you make your way to Kampung Arab, where the most moslem people in Singapore lives, carry on your stroll until Kampung Bugis, heading to Bugis Street where you can get bargain all about souvenir in Singapore. There you can have lunch, my fav is always this Qiji Malay resto at Bugis Junction, very simple but just right. Challenge on checking Singapore latest and bargain electronic, visit Sim Lim Plaza, just for wander about or really to find something. The whole day almost gone, then you can head to Asia Bar at The Stanford-Swissotel. That locates above at 70th floor, you can see Singapore on twilight, free things but no go with flip flop or short, so, prepare your trouser or nice skirt and shoes if you wanna go up there.

The next day,China town is waiting to be explored. Then heading to Orchard Road, the street that full of shopping mall that you can find anything from the whole world. From there you can head to Clarke Quay, do the boat trip, walking along the river until the Esplanade and end your day to go up at Kudeta Bar in Marina Bay Sands development, enjoying the city from the different perspective, while enjoying a sip of cocktail on your hand 🙂 . Alternatively, you can do it from Lantern Bar at One Fullerton Hotel.

The 3rd day, you can visit Singapore Botanical Garden, Singapore Zoo or go to Sentosa island. There you can also have a look the Universal Studios. Singapore is a pleasant place for me, for its food, its development and anything that it offers.
